What is a LGAT?

My first jolt of Eros came at the age of 18, during a year long period in which I was heavily involved with something refered to as a LGAT. What is a LGAT you ask? Wikipedia describes it like this:

LGAT is an acronym for “Large Group Awareness Training.”

An LGAT is a mechanism for promoting awareness change and rapid, thorough commitment to a cause or idea. LGATs tend to be brief but intense sessions of a few hours or days in which, ideally, participants adopt the message of the ‘training’ promptly and enthusiastically.

This is a good description. I’ll post more on the pros/cons of these type of Trainings as they relate to an integral practice (based on my own experience)…
