Numinous Non-Sense 1.0

Elizabeth DeBold on transformation, taken from an article entitled “Toward a New Women’s Liberation” in the newest edition of What is Enlightenment?

Transformation is an elitist process: not necessarily elitist in terms of social or economic privilege (although that can help to free one’s energy for something more then mere survival) but elitist in terms of urgency and perspective.

This is a great article on a what post-postmodern approach to women’s issues would look like. She is basically suggesting that women (and men) need to go beyond postmodern plurality in order to continue pushing for “Women’s Liberation.”

P.S. - Online, you can read another article of Elizabeths called, Where Are the Women?
