Zaadz

Integral Spirituality meets myspace.com!? Well, that’s what the new site Zaadz.com is starting to look like. Creating by a few people who attended a recent ILP seminar in Boulder, this site has all the functionality (actually it’s a bit cleaner, and easier to use) of MySpace.com, but with a different twist…

The quick version of what we’re gonna do: build THE most inspired community of people in the world… Imagine social networking with a purpose, a community of seekers and conscious entrepreneurs circulating wisdom and inspiration and wealth and all that good stuff. Fun fun fun. – Brian, CEO of Zaadz

And what’s with the name?

It’s Dutch for “seed.” Amazing how much potential is in a tiny seed, eh? We think so, too. That power reminds us of the amazing potential within each of us. We thought the idea of creating a company that inspires and empowers you to bring your “seed” to actualization would be pretty powerful. So, we created “Zaadz.”

They’re in pre-beta right now, but plan on launching something more comprehensive in early 06′. Cruise over there and check it out

zaadz, online community, networking, community

zaadz would have been a cool concept had not the TOU guys started censoring everyone and dropping their accounts. Censorship is no way to run an online community. Especially one with such highly stated ideals as zaadz.

Bottom line, zaadz fails to deliver on what it promises.

I at Zaadz and love it! However I found Zaadz almost 2 years ago and have been a member of the forums. I just recently also took on a blogspot as well …….but I believe because I was already a member there before the “blog” portion started ……that this is a reason why I am still there before they went into Pre-beta from beta.

I believe Zaadz will be an awesome community once it is truly ready to become fully public. I am awaiting with patience.

@ zaadz Originally uploaded by coolmel. Thanks to g-dawg for hooking me up with this new social networking service: zaadz.com. It’s Friendster with a purpose (other than getting laid). The beta version of the service looks crisp, fast. I’m sure it

  2. [...] After learning about it from Coolmel, I had to check it out but was immediately turned off by some girl who posted all these shots of lab animals, so I left. However, I took another look after learning from Vince that is was, “created by a few people who attended a recent ILP seminar in Boulder.” Holy crap, I’ve been to two of these seminars, and credit Integral Theory as the only decent explanation of how various human perspectives fit together. I had to join after reading that. [...]
