    Wow!

I used to be pretty fast, but I suspect I’ve slowed down in recent years. I’ve got to try this. Thanks for the link.

  2. Zataod Says:

It felt like I was typing in mud, but it wasn’t as bad as I would have expected.

you call that fast?! dang! typing is freakin’ LAME! how fast can you hyperlink with that?

more interesting is how fast you can SMS. check it. it’s radical!

    ~C (for Cellphones)

p.s. just to illustrate my point that typing is LAME. i typed up this comment, put the relevent hyperlinks, while drinking Starbucks coffee, and SMSing my long distance Dakini. there.

  4. Vince Says:

Sorry, I’m not from a SMSing culture dawg, and I would have to admit that my hyperlinking speed, while typing, must be much slower then your own… :)

  5. coolmel Says:

what’s this. am i making the great Bodhisattvic Vince cranky?! what happened to your Vipassana. i think you need to sit more.

  6. Vince Says:

Vipassana is the problem man… Ever heard of the Dark Night of the Blog Soul? Spiritual practice ain’t all fun and light dawg. Not even close sometimes…

  7. coolmel Says:

hmmm. i understand. been there. trust me. that’s why i choose to blog instead. take care. and talk to you next time when you’re not cranky anymore. w00t!

p.s. “dark night of the soul” is an illusion.

“Ever heard of the Dark Night of the Blog Soul?”

sorry dawg, forgot to answer this question. yes. i’m not IGNORANT on this THING. in fact, i went through it, psychologically, spiritually, and physically. no, i’m not gonna blog about it. but i’ll give you a clue. i wrote a poem (song) about it

i hope you get over with yours. because being CRANKY is NOT making you COOL.

Hey, this link is ok, but it’s not the best i’ve come across. Here, the fastest i’ve gotten is as follows:

    Gross speed: 59 wpm
    Errors: 0
    Net speed: 59 wpm

I generally type at around 55 wpm, but I have found a link that is easy to get fast results on. That’s what I call a burst speed test. There, I fastest speed I was able to obtain is as follows:

    Gross speed: 96 wpm
    Errors: 4 errors
    Net speed: 92 wpm

I like the way it looks, but I know that the result isn’t accurate.

To top it all off, I’m only 14, so I guess that my typing speed is better than average when compared to my age. I type faster than all of my other friends.

Wow, this is going to be an enormous comment.

  10. imSlowAtTyping Says:

um…59 wpm is not really all that fast. I’m fourteen too and i have 63(and im actually pretty slow). Only one other of my friends has taken a typing test b4, and she got a 103.

  11. D Says:

I’m fourteen as well, and just received a score of 81 WPM. woohoo!
