Recent Links Galore

Around the Web, Site Changes

I’ve recently added a function to my website called “Recent Links.” They were inspired by Jason Kottke’s very cool Remaindered Links. The basic idea is that they are mini-posts that include relevant information and hyperlinks, but are not themselves full posts. I figured this would be appropriate for me, because recently there have been a ton of small things I’d like to share, with a smaller amount of longer blogging entries. This could of course change, but for now I think it will add a lot more richness to my blogging.

One of the coolest things about the Recent Links, are that they have their own RSS Feed and their own Archive Page! So in many ways it’s like a mini-blog that is fully integrated with the larger blog, Numinous Nonsense. In any case, keep a look out for my Recent Links. That is of course, until I go on retreat in two weeks…!

Very geeky, and very cool. The design works very well, I dig it.

I just added this to Pagan Bodhisattva using the Sideblog plugin in conjunction with the Widgets plugin. I love the model. It allows me to focus on one long post every day, then spend the rest of the day quick-blogging things of interest, Instapundit-style.

I love the way you’ve organized them on your blog. Very cool!
