Two Month Retreat @ Spirit Rock

Meditation, Personal

Last fall I took 6 weeks out of my busy schedule (ha) and went on a vipassana retreat. Then again, this summer, I managed to make my way out to IMS for a month of practice. One might think, “Wow Vince, surely you’ve gotten your fill of long retreats…” And that person might be right, if only for the problem that the more retreats I attend, the more value I see in doing them. With that in mind, I wanted to share a bit of “retreat news” with you.

Next winter Emily & I are heading to Woodacre, CA—just north of the Bay area—where we’ll be participating in a two-month long retreat! The retreat itself will be from Feb 3rd - March 31st. Spirit Rock is the sister-center of IMS, the place normally go to practice, and is also the home of Jack Kornfield, who consequently will be one of the several teachers leading the 2nd half of the retreat.

P.S. - For all of my Bay Area blogging buddies (you know who you are), beware that I might be knocking on your door come early February!
