Starting School and Getting Well

Personal

Hi All,

Just wanted to bop in, and let you know that I’m still alive. It’s rare a that week goes by without blogging, but this week was my first back to school so I’ve been kinda busy. Starting some new classes that are cool (and some which are kind of lame), all with the end goal being graduation in December! wooHOO!!! I won’t bore you with the details of my new classes, like I do every other semester, cause honestly I don’t want to bore myself.

Instead I’ll share with you some of my recent experiences with traditional Chinese medicine. I starting feeling unwell a few weeks ago, experiencing a persistent fatigue and some other minor symptoms. All in all it wasn’t really bad, but just persistent and weird. So, I decided to check in with a local TCM practitioner in Boulder, and he hooked me up with some acupuncture and herbal pills. He suggested that it was probably a persistent virus that was remaining right under the surface. So after 30 minutes of acupuncture (talk about some zing-a-ling-linging) and several small green pills I’m feeling tons better, well on my way to full health. Being my first experience with Chinese medicine & acupuncture I’ve been really impressed with the results.

Alright, back to study…
