Joseph Goldstein ~ Video Interview

I found a good interview on Google Video with a well-known insight meditation teacher, Joseph Goldstein. Goldstein is one of the founders of the insight meditation movement, and is also a very eloquent teacher. I’ve sat with him a couple times, most recently on a 6-week retreat at his center, the Insight Meditation Society.

In this interview, Robert Wright from MeaningofLife.tv, goes in many different directions in the interview and ends up covering a lot of good ground. This is an excellent video if you want a decent overview of what Buddhist meditation is about and/or if you just want to see a good teacher in action.

Well, he definatly should be my teacher. It was neat to hear that someone else started out as I did: PCV and not knowing what to do with it!

    I miss you guys!

  2. Hey Katy,

Yeah, apparently Peace Corp is the #1 catalyst for meditation masters. Jack Kornfield was also a PCV in Thailand.

Thanks for commenting. You’re no longer a “lurker” on my blog. ;)
