MySpace Vlog

Technology, Vlogs

I finally caved in and created a MySpace account. You see, even though Myspace is Web 0.8, and I personally find it to be the most terrible social network site ever, it’s still what everyone is using! Unfortunately, that seems to be a prime feature of a decent social networking site (having lots of people). My sister is on there, my sister-in-law is on there, and many other people who I would probably stay connected with.

So, I caved in, but in true geeky style I created a Myspace Vlog to go with my new account. It’s pretty simple, and a little bit foolish, but it gets the message across: Even though I’ve finally caved in I’m not happy about it!

The trailing slash on the Myspace URL causes a 404 for me. It works fine w/o the slash: http://www.myspace.com/vincehorn

I must say, I’ve got issues with Myspace too, but I also caved some time back.

Of course, I have almost equal numbers of hit on my Zaadz page as I do on my Myspace page, despite having had my Zaadz page for a far shorter time and having significantly fewer people linking to me on Zaadz. I think that says something about a targeted audience.
