We ended up driving up into the mountains above Crestone this morning, passing several retreat centers (several Tibetan centers, the Crestone Mountain Zen Center, and some sort of Hindu Ashram). At the very top of the trail is this amazing Stupa which overlooks the high plains.
We did a couple of circumambulations, appreciated the view, and then rushed out of the cold. Beautiful place.
