My friend Ryan is thinking of getting an XBox 360, so that he can play Halo 3. Well, Ryan, do you want to be like these guys?

Get a Wii instead. ;)

Even better, get a girlfriend!

    Hmmm… My 360 gets far more mileage than my Wii. Wii’s are good for face to face social gaming, but not so much for solo gaming or networked social gaming. I have a handful of old Boulder friends, now spread out across the country, who I’m better connected to now than any time in the past 14 years, ’cause we chat while blowing each other up.

    But indeed, a girlfriend would be far better than Wii or 360. :-)

    Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard. Emily and I picked up a Wii yesterday, and not being hardcore gamers it seems like it’ll be fun. That being said, I can see the value in staying in close relationship with people that you enjoying blowing up. ;)

    Watch out… Your arms/shoulders will be sore after the first couple sessions of Wii Sports. Good stuff.
